Guidelines For Education Verification

GUIDELINES FOR EDUCATION VERIFICATION, TRANSCRIPTS AND FOR OTHER REQUESTS RELATED TO STUDENTS OF POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN BUSINESS LEADERSHIP(PGP-BL)

 


IIM Kozhikode receives several requests from corporate, agencies and individuals to verify the education particulars of alumni. IIMK will ensure that all such requests are addressed properly and effectively within 10 days after receiving the request along with necessary requirements & applicable fee.

  1. The following formalities are required to complete by the requester/alumni, while forwarding the Education Verification request.
  2. Requester/alumni to raise the request online & remit the necessary fee through online (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card). No other method of payment is acceptable.
  3. Please ensure correct information of the alumnus is captured in the online form. Incorrect information provided in the online application will lead to delay in processing the request.
  4. Fee can be paid in INR only.
  5. The fee paid against a particular request is not refundable or transferrable under any circumstances.
  6. Please note the request ID after submitting the request online.
  7. After submitting the request online, please email the scanned copies of the certificate and mark sheet(s) of the programme to pgpbl@iimk.ac.in .Kindly quote the request ID in the communication.
  8. The verification (from the IIMK part) will normally cover name of the student, year of passing, CGPA, and the title of Diploma /Certificate and the duration of study at the Institute.
  9. A minimum duration of 10 days is required to process the request.

 

FEES FOR EDUCATION VERIFICATION

Students who had graduated more than 2 years ago from the date of the request (Domestic) Rs.5000.00 (inclusive of postal charges- Registered /Speed Post)  
Students who had graduated more than 2 years ago from the date of request (Overseas) USD 200* (inclusive of postal charges- Registered /Speed Post) *INR Rate on the date of request/transaction. (For Overseas Verification Company/Agency)

  1. All transcript request must be submitted online directly by the alumni or immediate relatives of the alumni of IIM Kozhikode.
  2. Please ensure correct information of the alumnus is captured in the online request. Incorrect information provided in the online application will lead to delay in processing the request.
  3. Fee can be paid in INR only.
  4. Fee paid against a particular request is not refundable or transferrable under any circumstances.
  5. A minimum duration of 10 days will be required to prepare the transcripts.
  6. For forwarding the transcript to overseas, actual postal charges payable as additional. Additional payment details will be informed by the PGP-BL office after verifying the request.
  7. After submitting the request online, please email the scanned copies of the certificate and mark sheet(s) of the programme to pgpbl@iimk.ac.in
     

FEES FOR TRANSCRIPT

Students who had graduated more than 2 years ago from the date of request (Domestic) Rs. 350/- per copy* (inclusive of postal charges - registered or speed post)

 

 

*Student who needs the transcripts to be forwarded to the overseas address is required to remit the actual postage expense. This amount will be informed by the institute after receiving the request & based on the address to which the document needs to be forwarded.

All other requests except the request for duplicate certificate/mark sheet may be forwarded to pgpbl@iimk.ac.in with the details of programme completed and online request ID.

After submitting the request online, please email the scanned copies of the certificate and mark sheet(s) of the programme to pgpbl@iimk.ac.in. Kindly quote the request ID in the communication.

NOTE

For the issue of duplicate copies of degree certificates / marks sheets, students should submit the following supporting documents:

  1. A written request duly signed by the alumni specifying the programme details completed from IIM Kozhikode.
  2. A copy of the FIR filed by the Alumnus in the Police Station reporting the loss / theft.
  3. Copies of transcripts / grade sheet issued by the Institute duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
  4. Copy of Photo ID, Birth Certificate and Address proof duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Duly signed written request along with all required documents should be forwarded to following address for processing.

Admission

Eligibility

1. Candidates with not less than 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation or CA
2. Minimum 3 years’ relevant* work experience after completion of graduation/CA.
3. GMAT/GRE/CAT score of last 3 years

IIM Kozhikode adopts a three-stage selection process for its admissions to the PGP-BL Programme.

Fees & Financial Assistance

Application Fee (Non-refundable) : Rs.3000/-
Program Fee : INR.22,50,000/-
This fee includes program delivery, books and instruction material, in-campus hostel accommodation, and access to all in-campus facilities such as the library. Mess/Canteen charges would be additional and use-dependent.The above fees also includes program and coordination fees for the International Immersion module .
