Clocking another milestone, the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) has jumped 100 spots to be ranked among the top 251-300 institutes in business and management studies globally. The achievement was announced on Thursday as part of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2023.
The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) on Tuesday said 18 participants from Afghanistan attended the sessions on the first day of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme of the External Affairs Ministry through the online mode.
Kenyan and Ethiopian runners dominated various events at the 13th edition of Calicut Half Marathon organised by the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, on Sunday. Kenyan runner Jamer Korir bagged the first prize in the men’s open category of the 21-km half marathon while Hakkeem Lukumanul from Malaysia bagged the second prize. Sabareeswaran M. of India bagged the third prize. In the women’s category, Phoolan Pal of India was the winner and was followed by Abdo Kebebe Urga of Ethiopia and Briglo Kimitwal of Kenya. Joseph E.J. of India bagged the first prize in the veteran men’s category.
More than 2,000 people took part in the 13th edition of Calicut Half Marathon organised by Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode on Sunday. The run started from Kozhikode beach at 5.30 a.m. and was flagged off by Deepa Sethi, Dean (Programmes & International Relations) of IIM Kozhikode. K.E. Moidu, managing director of Peekay Steel Castings and Satish Gundewar, chief finance officer of DCB Bank were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Despite tech layoffs and concerns over global recession, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) witnessed 100% placements for its two-year Post Graduate Programmes (PGP) this season.
