Maroon was the colour of the day at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) on Saturday. As its silver jubilee batch graduated in flying colours, the institute broke the mould, shunning the traditional convocation gowns to adopt a complete ethnic attire. Everyone, including students and faculty members, wore either maroon sarees or kurtas. Each batch had a different coloured shawl as well to replace the convocation hats.
The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) Board of Governors (BoG) has reappointed Debashis Chatterjee as the Director of the Institute for another five-year term. He was reappointed in accordance with the IIM Act of 2017 at a pre-convocation meet of BoG here on Friday. The 25th annual convocation is set to take place on Saturday.

The Laboratory for Innovation Venturing and Entrepreneurship (LIVE) of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) and the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) inked a historic agreement to aid fintech start-ups in India. IFSCA and LIVE, IIM-K’s start-up incubator, have agreed to mutually cooperate and collaborate to support and facilitate FinTech start-ups by launching the fintech accelerator program FINN X. IFSCA is a statutory authority established by the Government of India.
