There are three phases for PGP-BL Admissions. You can apply in any one of the phases.
*Phase 1 opens in May, 2023 and closes on 30th June 2023
*Phase 2 opens on 1st July 2023 and closes on 31st August 2023
*Phase 3 opens on 1st September 2023 and closes on 20th November 2023

IIMK seeks to admit into the programme young professionals who possess good analytical and reasoning skills, superior communication abilities, sound general awareness and exhibit strong leadership potential.

Aggregate percentage of mark/CGPA is calculated as the average of percentage of mark/GPA obtained in each year/semester.

Only full time remunerative work experience after graduation will be considered. Part – time/Project/Internship/Articleship/Pre-Graduation will not be considered as work experience.
Candidates must have completed a minimum 3 years of work experience after graduation/CA, on or before 30th June 2023 for the phase 1, 31st August 2023 for the phase 2 and 20th November 2023 for the phase 3 admissions.

We will accept any official document that authentically establishes your employment record with the concerned organization(s). For instance it could be work experience letters, last drawn salary slip which indicates necessary details, or relieving letter.

There is no upper limit on work experience. However, our expectation is that candidates with work experience of between 3 to 7 years may be in a better position to leverage the program features.

IIM Kozhikode adopts a three-stage selection process for its admissions to the PGP-BL Programme.
Stage 1 is the submission of Application form. Those applicants who are shortlisted are asked to complete the stage 2, which comprises of Statement of Goals and an Alternative Essay. Stage 3 would be a Personal Interaction (PI) with the candidate. The three-stage selection process would be applicable to each of the three phases, which are independent of each other.

The IIMK PGP-BL curriculum design includes a dedicated 2-week global immersion module* at a premier international business school. This is aimed at providing participants a definitive international experience that involves both academic instruction as well as experiential and cross-cultural learnings, including visits and interactions with relevant local businesses
*If international immersion is prevented for any reasons/events beyond the reasonable control of IIMK, such as Covid 19, then IIMK shall make best efforts to facilitate alternative learning experiences.

Yes. Upon successful completion of the programme, student will be an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode. Alumni membership fee would be applicable.

Yes. IIMK will provide full placement assistance to the students subscribed to this programme, on a best-effort basis.

The form of the final award in the full-time, one-year, residential post graduate management programmes that follow an MBA curriculum, as offered by IIMs (PGPBL, PGPX, MBAEx etc) is currently under discussion with the MoE, Govt of India, following a related advice from the latter in 2020. This is a matter that equally would apply to all similar/comparable programmes at IIMs. Accordingly, upon successful completion of the programme, the final certificate awarded will depend on the final decision of the Government and could be a Post Graduate Diploma in Management , MBA degree, etc.
