FAQs

1. Will the institute provide career assistance?

Assistance will be provided to the students to find the mandatory industry internships. Institute will also provide necessary career assistance through Corporate Access Readiness and Engagement (CARE), a dedicated initiative to support the students throughout their course. CARE will initiate several programs to make the students ready and thoroughly prepared to take up challenging roles in the industry. Students are likely to get multiple opportunities to participate in the corporate recruitment process. However, the conversion cannot be guaranteed by the institution and the outcomes are dependent on the student’s efforts and performance.

2. Will there be opportunities for international exposure?

IIM Kozhikode has many international partner Universities. There will be opportunities for high performing students to participate in international exchange programs with partner Universities.

3. Will the institute provide hostels for students?

This is not a fully residential programme. We admit day scholars. The students are free to make their own accommodation arrangements if they so wish. The institute proposes to make hostels available to those outstation candidates if they are interested.

4. Who is eligible to apply for the IIMK BMS (IIMK Bachelor of Management Studies) program?

Candidates must have either:
Passed the HSC/Class XII/IB/Equivalent examination from any recognized board or Completed a Diploma post class X (in any stream) recognized by relevant government authorities.
Candidates awaiting their HSC/Class XII/IB/Equivalent/Diploma results in 2025 are also eligible to apply for IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025. After the IIMK BMS AT, a time window will be provided for them to upload their marks on the application portal.

5. How do I apply to IIMK for the BMS program?

6. Is there an entrance exam for admission to the IIMK BMS program?

Yes. Applicants must take the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) unless they have valid scores from other approved tests like JEE/ACT/SAT

7. Can I apply without taking the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test?

Yes, if you have valid scores from any of the following exams, you are exempted from taking the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test:

JEE (Main)

SAT/ACT

(The test should be completed on or before 20 June 2025)

8. What is the structure of the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test?

The Aptitude Test includes two key sections:

Section I: Verbal Ability

Section II: Quantitative Ability

9. When will the application process begin?

The application window opens on 22 April 2025 and closes on 22 May 2025.

10. When and where will the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 be conducted?

The IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) will be held on June 22nd, 2025 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The test will be conducted across India at approximately 25 designated centres.

11. Is there any minimum percentage requirement in Class XII or diploma?

No. There is no minimum stipulated grade/percentage required for application.

12. How will candidates be selected for admission?

Selection is typically based on a combination of factors, including:

  • Aptitude Test or valid alternative test scores
  • Academic performance in Class X, XII/diploma
  • Personal Interview Score
13. Can international students apply?

Yes, International students and NRIs are encouraged to apply.

15. Are calculators allowed during IIMK BMS AT?

No, calculators are not allowed during the test. No computing devices are permitted for the examination.

16. When will the Personal Interview be conducted? How would I know about its schedule?

The Personal Interview is a part of the IIMK admission process for IIMK BMS Program. The short listed candidate must appear for a Personal Interview. The interviews will be held in person at Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, New Delhi and Mumbai The dates and the schedule will be informed to the short listed candidates after the IIMK BMS AT 2025.

17. How will I be informed about my admission process dates?

Candidates will be informed over email. Candidates are advised to check their emails regularly and visit the IIMK registration portal for updates on admission – related activities. Candidates may also check their spam/junk folders to avoid missing any important email.

18. What identity proof do I need to keep with me for the online admission process?

Government authorized documents like AADHAAR card, PAN card or Passport will serve as an identity proof. Only originals shall be treated as valid proof of identity. You are required to keep the same handy during the entire admission process.

19. What is the cut-off score for X/XII grades?

There is no minimum cut offs placed for previous academic performance. However, the short listing and final selection will include a weightage for academic performance. Those who do not have a valid test score (JEE/SAT/ACT) will need to take IIMK BMS AT. The short listing of candidates will be based on their test scores and academic record. Once the candidates are shortlisted, the final selection will be based on their performance in

  • Admission Entrance Test/Other Qualifying Exams (JEE/SAT/ACT)
  • Personal Interview
  • Past Academic Record
20. How can I check my admission status?

Admission status will be announced as per the schedule mentioned on the website. Once it is declared, you will be notified on your registered email id. Once you receive the notification, you can login to your registration portal to know about your admission status.

21. If I am selected for admission to IIMK’s BMS Programme, when do I need to confirm the acceptance?

Deadlines to accept the offer of admission and other applicable dates will be communicated in the offer letter which will be sent to the selected students on their registered email id. Acceptance of admission offer and payment of the offer acceptance fee has to be completed before the deadline mentioned in your offer letter. If you fail to do so within the prescribed time, your offer shall stand automatically withdrawn.

22. Can I get assistance on education loans?

IIM Kozhikode is an internationally reputed academic institution set up by the Government of India and you are unlikely to face any difficulty in obtaining an educational loan. However, the specific process and documentation requirements depends on the bank. The institute will support you to make available the necessary documents.

23. If I choose not to join the program before the class commencement, will I get the offer acceptance fee/Program fee back?

A candidate withdrawing from the program will receive a fee refund if the withdrawal is made before the date and time specified in the IIMK BMS 2025-29 withdrawal procedure, duly uploaded on the IIMK admission portal. Note that the refund will be processed after deducting the processing charges as per the Government of India Order: F. No. 21-166/2007-TS. II dated 18.05.2007, which encloses order No.14-4/2007-U.3(A).

24. I am waitlisted. When will I know the final decision?

Depending upon the availability of vacant seat(s), we will notify the waitlisted candidates. Wait list movement depends on the acceptance of other candidates and cannot be predicted accurately.

25. Do I need to submit an official mark list, transcripts and certificates when I apply?

You will have to attach scanned copies of all your mark list/ transcripts and certificates in your online Application Form. It is mandatory to attach your grade X transcript. If you have received your grade XII final/ board results, it is mandatory to attach the transcript.

If your results are not yet declared for XII or equivalent, complete the application form with available details. You will be asked for results later.

26. Is it possible to apply before obtaining the grade XII final /board exam scores?

Yes. Students can apply before obtaining their grade XII final/ board exam results.

27. My 12th exam results are not expected before 30th June 2025. Should I apply for IIMK BMS AT?

For admissions to the IIMK BMS Program starting in August/September, you should have your result before 23 June, 2025. Keeping that in mind, you may appear for the Entrance exam.

28. What are the tuition and other fees and expenses?

Fee structure details are available at IIMK website. Please check the relevant section for details.

29. How do I compute the percentage of marks for application?

The percentage of marks obtained in Classes X & XII would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the marks sheet or grade sheet, irrespective of whether the respective board considers them for the percentage calculation.

30. Can I appear for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 for practice purposes, though I know I am not eligible?

No. You must fulfill the eligibility requirements to appear for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025

31. Is there any age restriction for taking the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025 examination?

No, there is no age restriction for taking the IIMK BMS AT 2025 examination.

32. What is the fee for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025 examination?

The application fee is ₹2,125/- for SC, ST and PwD category candidates and ₹4,250/- for all other categories of candidates.

Please note that SC, ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their SC/ST/PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fee, once paid, cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

33. How can I pay the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 examination fee?

You will be required to pay the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 examination fee during the online registration through the payment gateway. You can use a valid Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallet facility.

34. Can I use my coaching institute’s email address or a friend’s email address when registering for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025?

No. You must provide your own valid and unique email address. All correspondence pertaining to the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 and subsequent information during the selection stages will be communicated to the registered email address. Candidates must maintain a valid and unique email account and mobile phone number throughout selection process.

35. When will IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 be held, and can I choose an examination date?

The IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT)2025 exam will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, with one session (afternoon – 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM).

Based on your selected preferred test city, you will be assigned a test city and centre, subject to availability. While we cannot guarantee your exact preferred city, the nearest available city will be allocated.

36. From where can I get the list of examination cities?

While filling out the application form, you can select your preferred exam cities from the exam city drop-down menu.

37. When will I get my Admit Card?

The Admit Card will be available for viewing and print from Monday, June 09, 2025, 5:00 PM onwards. The Admit Card will appear only if your online application form is submitted successfully. You will receive an automated email confirmation upon successful submission. You can log into the IIMK website using your registered User ID and view/print the Admit Card.

38. What details will be mentioned in the Admit Card?

The Admit Card will contain the following details:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Test date
  • PwD status if any
  • Test centre details
  • Examination session and time
39. Will the Admit Card be sent to me as a hard copy or by mail?

The Admit Card will be available only on the IIMK website (BMS Webpage). You must log in using your IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025 User ID to view/print the Admit card.

Note:

The Admit Card is mandatory for taking the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025 examination. You must print the Admit Card and bring it to the examination centre on the day of the examination. Follow the instructions provided in the Admit Card before coming for the examination. The photograph to be affixed to the physical Admit Card must be the same as the one uploaded at the time of registration. Writing /doing rough work on the admit card will be treated as using unfair means.

40. I have made a mistake(s) during registration of IIMK BMS Aptitude Test 2025 and have created my user id and password. What should I do now?

You cannot edit personal details (Date of birth, email address, mobile number etc.) entered during registration once you confirm the submission. If you have made a mistake in these details, you must register again with a new email ID. Your IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 application will be considered for the latest registration and the Admit Card will be issued for the same. Please note that you will not receive a refund or Admit Card for your earlier registration. Failure to reregister in such circumstances may lead to cancellation of your candidature. Previewing your application form before submission is recommended to ensure all the details are correct.

42. If I do not get my Admit Card, whom should I contact?

The Admit Card must be directly printed from the IIMK website (BMS Web Page) using your User ID and Password. It will be available for printing from Wednesday, June 09, 2025, 5:00 PM onwards. The Admit Card will not be mailed to your postal address.

43. If the website does not work and I am unable to complete my application, what should I do?

If the registration website is inaccessible, please delete the cache files, close your internet browser, and try accessing the website again. Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

44. Which screen appears after I log into the website after registration?

After successful registration, you can use the system-generated User ID and Password to log in to the website. Upon logging in, you will first see the Registration Summary page. Click on ‘Go to Application Form’. This will direct you to the Application Form page.

45. What should I do if I have not received the password or have lost the SMS?

If you have not received the password or have lost the SMS, click the Forgot User ID/Password option on the Existing User login page. You will be prompted to enter your registered Email ID and a Captcha string. The new password will be sent to your registered email address.

Note:

Regenerated passwords will not be sent as an SMS.

46. What should I do if I cannot locate the user ID?

Please click on the Forgot User ID/Password button on the Existing User login page and enter your registered Email ID and prompted Captcha string to receive the User ID/Password on the registered Email ID.

47. I have received multiple passwords. Which password I should enter to login?

You need to use the most recent password you received. If you are not able to log in, you can simply use your user ID and click ‘forgot password.’ You will receive a new password through email on your registered email ID.

48. I have changed my name, according to due procedure, after completing my 12th/Diploma. Should I enter my name as per the 12th/Diploma certificate or the changed name?

You must enter your changed name and provide the supporting documents for the change of name at the time of examination, interview, and admission.

59. Which documents need to be uploaded while filling out the application form?

1. If you have chosen EWS or NC-OBC or SC or ST as the category, you must upload the relevant certificate.

2. If you are a PwD category applicant, you must upload the relevant PwD certificate.

50. Under which categories can I apply for IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025?

You can apply under any of the following categories you belong to:

  • General
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST)
  • Non-creamy Other Backward Class (NC-OBC)

 Note :

  • You cannot change the category once the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 application form is submitted.
51. Which documents must I submit if I belong to the SC/ST category?

If you belong to the SC or ST category, your caste/tribe must be listed in the Government of India schedule. For more information, refer to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment website  https://socialjustice.gov.in / Home and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs website  https://tribal.nic.in

The caste certificate you upload in the Application Form should be in the government-approved format. The certificate format is also available on the IIMK website under the Certificates section. Download and print the certificate, and clearly state the following:

  • Whether you belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.
  • District and the State or Union Territory of your ordinary residence.
  • The appropriate Government of India schedule under which your caste/tribe is approved, whether Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe.
  • Signatures of required authorities.
52. I have an SC/ST certificate in the format uploaded on the IIMK website. Can I use the same certificate or do I have to download the certificate template from the IIMK website and fill it again?

If your certificate fulfills the following conditions, you can upload the same certificate:

  • A competent authority should have issued the certificate.
  • The name of the caste and caste number should appear on the certificate.
  • The Ministry's resolution/order number should be available.
  • The certificate should be in Hindi or English only.

The authorities competent to issue the certificate are: District Magistrate /Additional District Magistrate /Collector /Deputy Commissioner /Additional Deputy Commissioner / Deputy Collector / I Class Stipendiary Magistrate /City Magistrate /Taluka Magistrate /Executive Magistrate / Extra Assistant Commissioner /Chief Presidency Magistrate / Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate /President Magistrate /Revenue Officers not below the rank of Tahsildar /Sub Divisional Officer of the area where the person and his family normally resides /Development Officer.

Note:

The certifying authority should be concerned with the locality where the person applying for a certificate has his permanent place of abode. Revenue Authorities have been empowered to issue certificates based on a certificate issued by an MP, MLA, Gazetted Officer, etc. But they should do so only after proper verification and after having satisfied themselves with the corrections.

53. Do I belong to the NC-OBC category?

To know whether you belong to the NC-OBC category, see the following website:  https://www.ncbc.nic.in. Refer to the updated center list of state-wise OBCs eligible for availing of the benefit of reservation and information regarding the creamy layer. The central government norms will govern the validity of the NC-OBC certificate.

54. Do I belong to the EWS category?

To know whether you belong to the EWS category, see the following website: https://dopt.gov.in/sites/default/files/ewsf28fT.PDF.  The central government norms will govern the validity of the EWS certificate.

55. I do not have an NC-OBC/EWS certificate issued on or after 1st April 2024 but have an NCOBC/EWS certificate issued before 1st April 2024. Can I use the same certificate to apply under the NC-OBC/EWS category?

In exceptional cases, candidates not having an NC-OBC/EWS certificate issued on or after 1st April 2024 but having an NC-OBC/EWS certificate issued before 1st April 2024 and are unable to get the certificate renewed in time for reasons beyond their control may apply with the same certificate. Such candidates are required to upload the following documents along with the certificate:

1. Undertaking for submission of valid NC-OBC/EWS certificate. (Format to be downloaded from the IIMK website).

2. Copy of communication/acknowledgment/screenshot received from the certificate issuing authority for application submission for the NC-OBC/EWS certificate issuance.

3. A copy of the submitted application in case any of the documents mentioned in point no. 2 is unavailable.

56. I have a valid OBC (Non-creamy layer) certificate in a similar format uploaded on the IIMK website. Can I use the same certificate or do I have to download the certificate template from the IIMK website and fill it again?

If your valid certificate fulfills the following conditions, you can upload the same certificate:

  • A competent authority should have issued the certificate.
  • The certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April 2024.
  • The name of your caste should be in the state-wise central list available on the website ncbc.nic.in
  • The name of the caste and caste number should appear on the certificate.
  • District and the State or Union Territory of your ordinary residence.
  • The certificate should clearly state that he/she does not belong to the persons/sections (Creamy Layer)
  • The Ministry’s resolution/order number should be available.
  • The certificate should be in Hindi or English only.

The authorities competent to issue the certificate are:- District Magistrate/Additional Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/Sub-Divisional magistrate/Taluka Magistrate/Executive Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner (not below the rank of 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate)/Chief Presidency Magistrate/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate/Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar/Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and/or his family resides.

57. I have a valid EWS certificate in the similar format uploaded on the IIMK website. Can I use the same certificate or do I have to download the certificate template from the IIMK website and fill it again?

If your valid certificate fulfills the following conditions, you can upload the same certificate:

  • A competent authority should have issued the certificate.
  • The certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April 2024.
  • The certificate should mention the validity year as 2024-25.
  • The certificate should clearly mention that his/her family does not own or possess any of the following assets*** :

o 5 acres of agricultural land and above;

o Residential flat of 1000 sq. ft. and above;

o Residential plot of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities;

o Residential plot of 200 sq. yards and above in. areas other than the notified municipalities.

  • The certificate should clearly mention that the gross annual income* of his/her family** is below Rs. 8 lakh (Rupees Eight Lakh only)
  • The certificate should clearly mention his/her caste and that his/her caste is not recognized as a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes (Central List).
  • The certificate should be in Hindi or English only.

The authorities competent to issue the certificate are:- District Magistrate/Additional Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/Sub-Divisional magistrate/Taluka Magistrate/Executive Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner (not below the rank of 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate)/Chief Presidency Magistrate/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate/Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar/Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and/or his family resides.

*Note 1: Income covers all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession, etc.

**Note 2: The term 'Family’ for this purpose include the person, who seeks benefit of reservation, his/her parents and siblings below the age of 18 years as also his/her spouse and children below the age of I8 years

***Note 3: The property held by a "Family' in different locations or different places/cities have been clubbed while applying the land or property holding test to determine EWS status.

58. Who is eligible to take the test under the PwD category?

As per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016), persons with benchmark disabilities qualify for reservation of seats under the PwD category. “Person with benchmark disability” means a person with not less than forty percent (40%) of a specified disability where specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms and includes a person with disability where specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority.

“Specified disability” means the disabilities as specified in the Schedule of the RPwD Act 2016.

The categories of disability are:

a) blindness and low vision,

b) deaf and hard of hearing,

c) locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy,

d) autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness, and

e) multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d).

f) Other 'specified disabilities' mentioned in ‘The Schedule’ of the RPwD Act 2016

Candidates are advised to go through the RPwD Act 2016 carefully to ascertain if they belong to the PwD category.

59. What are Testing Assistive devices?

Testing Assistive devices (TA devices), also known as technical aids, are designed to directly enable candidates with disabilities to perform a particular task successfully.

60. Which are the acceptable testing devices that I can use/bring to the test centre?

The approved means of testing assistance are: Testing Assistance Applicable for Arranged by Abacus (without a calculator) Visually Impaired Candidate Hearing Aid Hearing Impairment Candidate Wheel Chair Locomotor Disability/ Cerebral Palsy Test Centre, on request in the Application Form Magnifying Screen Visually Impaired Test Centre on request (System inbuilt feature) Scribe/Reader Visually Impaired/Locomotor disability, including cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Candidate

61. Will the means of testing assistance be provided to me directly at the test centre?

Based on your request in the Application Form, only a magnifying screen (system-built feature) and a wheelchair will be arranged by the test centre. All other approved means of testing assistance, including abacus, hearing aids, and scribe/reader, need to be arranged by you.

62. What will be the time extension given to a PwD candidate?

PwD candidates with or without a scribe requirement will be given a time extension of 20 minutes per hour, which comes to a total extension of 40 minutes for a 2-hour test.

63. Who will provide a scribe/reader if required by a PwD candidate?

The PwD candidate will have to make arrangements for a scribe. He/she must carry the Scribe Affidavit, which is available on the IIMK Website.

64. Is there an eligibility criterion for a scribe/reader?

There is no eligibility criterion. On the day of the test, the scribe must bring a valid proof of identity and a passport-sized photograph and sign a declaration about his/her educational qualifications at the test venue.

65. Do I have to fill out a form to request a scribe/reader?

You need not fill out a form to request a scribe. You must indicate in the IIMK BMS APTITUDE TEST (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 application that you will use a scribe. The candidate has to carry a Scribe Affidavit, which is available on the IIMK Website.

Note: PwD candidates requiring the assistance of a scribe/reader will have to make the arrangement themselves.

67. Where do I mail my PwD certificate for approval?

You must upload the scanned copy of the PwD certificate while filling the online Application Form

68. I have a PwD certificate in the format given on the IIMK website. Can I use this certificate or do I have to download the certificate template from IIMK website and fill it again?

If your certificate fulfils the following conditions, you can upload the same certificate with your application form:

  • The competent authority should have issued the certificate.
  • The photo should be available in the certificate (if applicable).
  • The certificate should be valid as per the RPwD Act 2016.
  • The certificate should be in Hindi/English only.
69. Is the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 an online examination?

IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 is not an online examination. It is a digital or Computerbased Test (CBT), not an Internet-based test (IBT); a candidate will not take the examination on an internet site. Instead of reading the questions in a paper booklet and darkening the ovals on the answer sheet, a candidate will read the questions on a computer terminal and choose an answer by clicking the correct option.

70. How is the computer-based format different from the paper-based format?

In the computer-based format, the candidate reads a question on a computer terminal and clicks on the correct answer from among the options given or types the answer in case of a question without options.

In the paper-based format, the candidate reads a question on a paper booklet and uses a pencil to darken the ovals on an answer sheet.

71. Can I take the examination from any computer?

A candidate must take the examination on a workstation assigned at the test centre based on the test cities selected while registering for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT). The test centre details will be printed on the Admit Card.

72. What does a CBT examination look like?

A practice test will be available on the IIMK website (BMS Webpage): https://www.iimk.ac.in . You can familiarize yourself with the functionality and navigation of the actual exam. Mock Test link will be available by the second week of June 2025.

73. Can I carry rough paper/scribbling pad and pen/pencil to the exam for rough work?

No. On the exam day, candidates will receive only one scribble pad and pen for rough work. Candidate needs to do all rough work on the given scribble pad only. No extra scribble pad will be provided to any candidate. Writing anywhere other than the given scribble pad, including on the admit card, will be treated as using unfair means.

All PwD category candidates with 'Blindness and low vision' disability shall be provided an additional scribble pad of the standard size upon request.

74. Can I carry the scribble pad home after the completion of my exam?

No. Once the exam is over, invigilators will collect the scribble pad from you.

76. Is there a specific order for answering sections? Can I attempt sections the way I want?

You must answer the sections in a specific order and this order will remain the same for all the candidates.

77. Can I carry my medicines or any other restricted item, which is essential for me, to the Exam hall?

As an exception, candidates may be permitted to carry medicines or any other restricted item that is essential for their consumption/use during the examination due to medical conditions or any other strictly unavoidable reasons on the production of a permission letter from the exam conducting authority. To obtain the permission letter, candidates must send a special request, using the ‘Authorization Form’ (available on the IIMK website) with supporting documents and the admit card to the IIMK Helpdesk email ID (bmsathelpdesk@iimk.ac.in). Candidates will need to produce the approval at the test centre in addition to routine screening procedures.

78. How will PwD candidates with visual impairment (VI) disability deal with charts, diagrams and graphs in the question paper?

IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 question paper for VI candidates is designed not to have any graphs, charts or diagrams.

79. Can VI candidates adjust the screen magnification?

Two levels of screen magnification option in the software is available only for VI candidates.

80. Can I adjust the screen brightness of the computer monitor?

Screen brightness of the computer monitor can be adjusted to appropriate levels for the candidates, but only by the Invigilator. Please request your invigilator if you need the same.

81. Which are the keys enabled/disabled in the keyboard attached to the computer system for IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 Exam?

All the keys on the keyboard attached to the computer system are DISABLED for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 Exam.

82. Can I use the mouse attached to the computer system during IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 Exam?

Yes. Only the mouse's ‘left click’ function will remain enabled during the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT)2025 Exam. All other functions of the mouse will remain disabled during the exam.

83. What should I do if I face a technical issue during the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025 Exam? Will the time taken for resolving the issue be compensated?

While we have made the best efforts to check and ensure every technical system is in order, in the unusual event of a technical issue, do not panic. Inform the invigilator immediately; the technical support team will lock the system, and you will be assigned a new system. The system shift will happen with the timer being paused during the shift. Hence, you will not lose total time in the examination.
