Chief Administrative Officer & Secretary - Board of Governors Chief Administrative Officer & Secretary – Board of Governors. Overall in-charge of administrative functions, responsible to Board of Governors and Director.

Few of the duties and responsibilities of the CAO but not limited to is as under
1. Responsible to the Director on all Administrative matters and HR matters of Staff.
2. Ex-officio Secretary to Board of Governors, and Sub Committees as decided by the Board.
3. Establishment and Personnel matters.
4. Estate Management & monitoring of Housekeeping, Horticulture & Security services.
5. Contract management and related issues.
6. Stores Management- Purchase, AMC, Accounting, Disposal and Audit.
7. Campus Construction activities and maintenance of Structures.
8. Chief Public Information Officer dealing with RTI matters.
9. Legal Matters/ Discipline of staff.
10. Academic Facilitation – Administrative and Logistic support for all Institute activities.
11. Tasking of Engineering and Accounts department.
12. Specific tasks given by the Board/Director.
13. Liaison with Ministry/ Local Police/ Government and Public officials.
14. Custodian of Confidential documents and charge of policy matters and documents.

Consultant (General
Administration)
1. General administration matters .
2. Liaison with Govt Statutory Officials, local administration, Police, Forest department, Health department.
3. Hospital nomination and facility administration for staff/faculty, Dispensary services.
4. Estate matters including Housekeeping, Security, Horticulture, landscaping etc.
5. Guest House management, allotment and facility administration
6. Township housing allotment, administration and security.
7. Transport facility for staff/students/faculty and VIPs, Dignitaries.
8. Front Office, Reception, Despatch and documentation movement controls.
9. Convocation/event managements of Institute.
Senior Administrative Officer (Academic
Administration)
1. Overall in charge of administration of academic activities of all PGProgramme offices of the Institute.
2. Coordination and support to the MDP and EPGP Programmes.
3. Provide accommodation and Mess facilities for students
4. Liaison with participants/faculty and various department in the Institute
5. He is assisted by Administrative Officers and/or Assistant Administrative Officers of respective programme offices for proper discharge of above duties and functions.
Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Custodian of all Accounts books of the Institute.
Maintenance of accounts, disbursement, investment, statutory auditing, Insurance, CAG audit etc.
Treasury and Investment fund management.
Preparation of budget estimates and revised estimates.
assisted by Senior Finance and Accounts Officers and Senior Accounts Officers and supporting Accountants for proper discharge of above duties and functions.
Librarian The Librarian is the Head of the Library & Information Centre of the Institute. Deputy Librarian, Assistant Librarians help the Librarian in the proper functioning of the Library and always available for help to the faculty/students/staff and others visiting the Library. Also in charge of Indian Business Museum, Coordinates Library consortium of IIMs, Communication and Media controls.
Chief Systems Manager Head of Computer Centre and IT Services to students, staff and faculty. as well as administrative offices & class rooms. He is also overall in charge of the computer support system in the Institute, its procurement, maintenance etc. Assisted by Senior Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, Programmers and Technical support assistants.
Chief Purchase Officer Head of all purchase activities on behalf of Institute.
Also coordinates all Tenders, procurements, Contracts, AMCs.
Head of Stores function, inventory control and administration.
Coordinates with vendors, suppliers and other service providers like Printers, publishers etc.
Chief Vigilance Officer Oversees all Vigilance matters as mandated by the CVC for the Institute;
Ensure compliance to CVC guidelines issued by the Govt of India and CVC.
