About The 7th JAAF - ATP India Symposium

The 7th Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance (JAAF) - Accounting Theory and Practice (ATP) India symposium will be held at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, India during January 5th - 6th, 2024. IIM Kozhikode is organizing this symposium jointly with Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta.


Authors are invited to submit (unpublished and/or not accepted elsewhere for publication) research papers consistent with the aims and scope of JAAF for presentation.


Papers are to be submitted in an electronic form to: jaafsymposium_2024@iimk.ac.in

There is no submission fee for paper submissions. The Symposium Program Committee will select papers for presentation based on the comments of reviewers, the work's quality and the potential for contributing to the literature.


The deadline for submission is September 30, 2023 and the decision about the selected papers will be communicated by October 20, 2023.


The registration fees and cost of lodging will be waived for all presenters, discussants, and invited speakers.


Papers accepted for the Symposium may be submitted to JAAF or ATP, but the reviews for the respective journals will be independent of the review for the symposium.


Attendance is open to all, but there is limited space for participants who are not speakers and discussants. Those interested in attending the Symposium should register before December 15th 2023 by sending an email to jaafsymposium_2024@iimk.ac.in.

The registration fee for the attendees is INR 5,000 or US $61 (additional 18% GST will be applicable) and will cover symposium material and conference meals. The registration can be paid through payment link given in the conference website. Attendees will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation.
