GIT 2026

The 7th edition of International Conclave on Globalizing Indian Thought 2026, to be held from 26–28 November 2026 at Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre, New Delhi, is centred on the theme "Reimagining India: Mindsets, Multilogues, Mysteries (3M)." The theme reflects a contemporary India that cannot be understood through a single narrative. It invites participants to explore India as a nation of ideas, conversations, and possibilities—where ancient wisdom coexists with technological advancement, democratic plurality strengthens institutional resilience, and cultural imagination continues to inspire the world.

The 3M frame

The theme is organised around three interconnected dimensions:

Mindsets

India's intellectual, philosophical, scientific, creative and strategic imagination, including Indian thought, knowledge systems, AI ethics, education, research, leadership and human judgment.

Multilogues

India's ability to hold multiple conversations at once, across economy, technology, governance, defense, diplomacy, finance, sustainability, enterprise and global repositioning.

Mysteries

How India creates purpose, identity, belonging, cultural influence, spiritual depth, public narratives, soft power and ethical direction in a rapidly changing world.

Objectives

Objectives of the Conclave.

  • 01 Provide a rigorous intellectual forum for examining Reimagining India (Mindsets, Multilogues, Mysteries — the 3M frame) contributions to global knowledge, management, governance and society.
  • 02 Bring together leading thinkers, practitioners, policymakers and cultural voices from India and abroad in substantive dialogue.
  • 03 Advance interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of Indian knowledge systems, management theory and contemporary global challenges.
  • 04 Give early-career researchers a platform to present emerging work and receive feedback from senior scholars and practitioners.
  • 05 Facilitate meaningful cross-sector and cross-cultural networking among delegates.
  • 06 Recognise and honour ten remarkable Indians from diverse fields who embody the spirit of a multi-dimensional India.
  • 07 Consolidate IIMK's standing as the foremost institutional home for the Globalizing Indian Thought initiative.
