The multiple parameters allow a holistic assessment of candidates, and also provide a fair chance to candidates who may by chance or for whatever reasons, may not score high on one parameter. The overall process addresses the constraints of busy professionals who have to be assessed on multiple parameters than through a single metric score.

The content and structure of Entrance test will be broadly similar to that of typical competitive test applied in the case of management/business school admissions, such as the Common Admission Test (CAT), administered by the IIMs and the globally recognized Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). There will be questions on testing logical reasoning in addition to questions for testing numerical, data interpretation and verbal skills of the candidates. The test will typically be of one-hour duration. Different questions may carry different weights and there may also be negative marks for wrong answers.
The test is designed to assess the capabilities necessary for successful completion of the programme, through an objective manner.
