I am Federico Musu, a doctoral candidate in the Vilfredo Pareto Ph.D. Program in Economics at the University of Turin and Collegio Carlo Alberto, where I began my studies in November 2022. My academic background includes an MSc in Economics from the University of Pisa and Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, and Financial Markets from the University of Pisa.
My research focuses on the Economics of Complexity, Economics of Science, Structural Change, and Regional Development. My master's thesis, supervised by Giovanni Dosi, explored "The Export Fitness of Italian Regions" through an evolutionary and complexity approach.
I have worked as a Research Trainee at ISTAT, analyzing composite indices for socio-economic phenomena. Additionally, I have experience as a Teaching Assistant and tutor in quantitative methods. I am also actively involved in European federalist initiatives and contribute to the Eurobull Journal.
