Karpagavalli Gurusamy

I am a passionate academician with 18 years of experience in teaching, learning, and academic administration. Currently, I am associated with ISBR Business School, Bangalore. My educational journey includes a BE in Information Technology, an MBA in Systems, and a Ph.D. in Management. My goal is to lead and contribute to the development of a high-quality managerial workforce while shaping responsible citizens.
My research interests lie in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and I have authored over 20 publications in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed journals. I have had the privilege of serving as a resource person and session chair at several national-level Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars, and conferences. I have also attended FDPs at prestigious institutions such as IIM Bangalore.
Throughout my academic journey, I have taken on various leadership roles, including serving as a Board of Examiners (BOE) and Board of Studies (BOS) member, as well as an external examiner for multiple universities. I have contributed as a reviewer for book chapters under IGI Publications and serve on the editorial board of the International Journal of Customer Relations.
Currently, I am guiding a PhD scholar at Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, an FPM (Fellow Program in Management) scholar under AICTE, and I also serve as an external examiner and subject expert for a PhD scholar at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
My passion for academia continues to drive me, and I strive to contribute meaningfully to research, teaching, and the overall growth of the academic community.
