IIM Kozhikode has been a pioneer in executive education through Interactive Learning (IL) since 2001, empowering working professionals across the Asia-Pacific region. The two-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA) is designed to equip executives with specialized knowledge, strategic decision-making abilities, and leadership skills. Delivered via the TimesPro technology platform (a division of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd), the programme currently enrols 1,000+ professionals and enjoys strong industry recognition.
Established in 1996 through a collaboration between the Government of India and the State Government of Kerala, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is the fifth IIM to be established in India.

A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate mark or equivalent CGPA.
In case of an absence of a duly recognized bachelor's degree, a candidate with a minimum aggregate percentage of 50 in CA/ICWA/CS can apply for the programme.
The degree obtained from a foreign University subject to producing the equivalency certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or any Govt. of India approved assessment agency, or an Indian University approved by UGC along with the proof of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the programme completed.

Programme Structure
The programme is divided into two years with a compulsory core curriculum in the first year and four compulsory courses and elective courses in the second year, with an optional International Immersion Component. The curriculum of the first year is designed to provide the participants with a thorough grounding in the prerequisite courses and the functional areas of Management. The first-year courses in the core curriculum are common to all the participants, and, considering the level of rigour with which it is taught, will enable the participants to further their career into any stream of Management. The first year also lays the foundations for the moulding of the unique IIMK brand; where, a concern for the wider society and an abiding value system are firmly imprinted. The second-year courses are elective offerings in various academic areas.
The three in-campus modules are conducted at the IIMK campus. These modules provide the participants with an orientation towards case-based learning, foundation to analytical thinking and integrate the learning culture of IIMK apart from the discussions on contemporary issues in management practices and trends in the industry and business.
The Interactive Learning (IL) component forms the core of EPGP. Instructors from IIMK, facilitate learning through two-way audio/video synchronous telecommunication mode from the Studio based at IIMK Campus. Classes are scheduled on weekdays in the evening and on weekends. This Programme is currently offered through the technology platform of TimesPro. The technology allows the instructor to effectively communicate ideas and interact with the participants attending live sessions from various locations across the country.
The EPGP-IL programme includes an optional international immersion component, which is a non-credit and non-compulsory component. The immersion component is conducted after the third in-campus module. The selected participants will attend a one week immersion module at a premium University abroad. The expenses related to the the international immersion component is not included in the EPGP-IL programme fee.

No. Presently the Executive Post Graduate Programmes are offered through the designated class room centers across India only.
No. Post-Graduation marks is not considered as an eligibility criteria for admission to the EPGP programmes of IIMK.
Diploma is not considered as eligibility criteria for admission to any of the Executive Post Graduate Programmes.
No. Candidate must have possessed 3 years work experience after successful completion of graduation as on the due date to submit the application online. Any work experience obtained prior to graduation is not considered for calculating the total work experience to apply for the EPGP programme of IIM Kozhikode.
Aggregate percentage of mark/CGPA is calculated as the average of the percentage of mark/GPA obtained in each year/semester. If the maximum possible mark in the year/semester is varying, percentage to be calculated after converting the mark obtained to a common scale.
Working professionals with a minimum of 3 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation could apply for the programme. Candidates who are completing 36 months’(1095 days) work experience as on the due date to submit the application online is eligible to apply.The programme is targeted at working executives meeting the specified criteria from a range of functional / technical domains across a diverse range of organizations / industries.
The eligibility norms for PhD programmes are decided by respective universities and may vary. Candidates who have completed the EPGP programme for working executives and have been awarded the MBA degree are eligible to apply for the FPM (PhD) & PhD (Practice track) in IIMK.
EPGP programmes are meant for those executives in their middle / senior management positions wishing to augment their management expertise and leadership abilities. The programme is supposed to help working executives in their current work roles and career progression paths. Hence a formal placement assistance scheme is not part of this programme.
