History of technology, science and technology studies (STS), twentieth-century history of South Asia, history of scientific/technical education in India, engineering history, history of industrial enterprises in India

Member, international project titled "ENGIND: Engineers and Society in Colonial and Post-Colonial India", funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), 2014-17.

Selected as an International Scholar of the Society for the History of Technology (2015, 2016).
