Executive Education Programmes
With the aim of helping practicing executives, who are not in a position to join any long duration residential education programmes, IIMK provides an opportunity through Executive education.
In the year 2001, IIMK conceived a new model of management education for working executives. EMEP programme marked the beginning of IIMK’s Executive education activities and IIMK pioneered management education through a synchronous interactive learning mode in the Asia Pacific region.
The admission to the programmes is through a nationwide rigorous selection process. The executive education programmes have in-built flexibility that allows the participants acquire necessary knowledge and skills, without adversely affecting their official duties. Classes are regularly conducted through two-way Audio & Video communication (teleclassroom) with streaming facilities that provides a virtual classroom learning environment. These programmes have two modules; the participants attend classes by logging in to any of the 300 plus high bandwidth networked classrooms that are present in the country and the other component, called in-campus module is conducted at IIMK campus at Kozhikode.
